This week in Productions

This week we will start our print media unit.  We will be exploring the program Adobe Photoshop Elements.  This program allows us to manipulate, edit, and create stunning photos, advertisement, marketing materials, and anything else that utilizes still pictures as its medium.

However, first we need to learn how to find pictures to edit on the internet.  The tutorial below shows us how to save pictures from the internet onto your computer.  For Productions Class all pictures will be saved to your L Drive.

You will need to create an image bank for this unit.  Begin by finding the following 8 pictures and saving them to the K Drive in the folder called KELLEY PRODUCTIONS 2016.  Make sure all pictures are in PNG, JPEG, or GIF formats before saving!

I recommend renaming each picture as you save it.  This will allow you to easily identify it.  You need to find the following:

1.  Your Favorite Sports Team Logo
2.  Your Favorite Movie Poster
3.  Your Favorite Celebrity
4.  Your Favorite Food
5.  Your Favorite Subject in School
6.  Your Favorite store to shop at
7.  Your Favorite Band
8.  Your Favorite Animal

Next we will start learning the basics of Adobe Photoshop CC 2014.

The following video playlists takes you throug the basics of Adobe Photoshop CC.

After we finish the Tutorial you have the rest of class to explore with Photoshop Elements!

This tutorial helps you understand the basics of Photoshop Layers and how to edit photos.
